Our Process

Listening

  • The consulting process at Evans Investment Advisors begins with some serious listening
  • We ask the questions which, from our experience, we know will help us get to know you as an individual, as well as the questions that give us information about your financial situation, your financial goals and your time horizon
  • We then listen carefully to your answers
  • We know that, unlike institutions, individual investors have unique and highly personalized dreams, goals, and appetites for the risks of investing
  • We don’t begin to give you advice until we know what you want

Research

  • Once we have your financial goals clearly defined, we begin the search for the processes and products that will help you achieve them
  • We rally the complementary skills of our senior professionals (and sometimes access from outside resources) to develop a customized plan for you
  • This may involve constructing an investment strategy, a tax-management approach, an insurance program, and/or an estate plan
  • It may require coordinating your personal financial plan with planning for your business
  • Whatever it takes to create a comprehensive wealth management plan for you, that’s what we put together during the research phase

Recommendation

  • Once a plan is created for you, we will present it to you, complete with our recommendations for implementation
  • We present our plans in an atmosphere of open communication and discussion
  • We know that informed clients make the best decisions
  • We believe that answering your questions and responding to your concerns at the beginning of our professional relationship is the surest route to a long-term association grounded in mutual trust and shared expectations

Implementation

  • We implement your customized financial plan using the best vehicles, products and processes available to us for each component of the plan
  • Among the members of our team, we hold the necessary licenses and designations required to manage all the elements within a financial plan
  • We believe that the ability to provide comprehensive execution of your wealth management strategy is a significant value we bring to our client relationships
